Literature Search and Evaluation Service
The continuous literature search and evaluation service is based on a joint, cross-company use of safety data for specific active substances. The literature search is performed in over 12 relevant databases, e.g. MEDLINE and TOXLINE.
Literature Database
Relevant publications are saved and continuously updated in the BPI Service literature database. Research results can be easily accessed and reviewed via a web portal.
Customers of the literature search and evaluation service receive access to the literature database.
Automated Alert Emails
Customers receive automated alert emails with each new relevant entry in the database. This guarantees that the participants are up-to-date at all times.
CIOMS Forms, ICSR XMLs and Line Listings
For published case reports that require expedited reporting (15-day reports) a CIOMS form with "Recommended assessments of drug relation to adverse reaction" or an E2B-compliant ICSR XML can be ordered. In addition, a Volume 9A-compliant Line Listing can be downloaded for all relevant reports.
Additional PSUR-relevant Information
Published safety relevant studies, also to be included in a PSUR, are also posted in the literature database.
